WebGL Context Lost

Heya. I'm running a game in Chrome, and one map in particular, (kind of like their home base) has always worked fine. However, whenever we return to it now, the display goes wild and shows glitched tiling tokens all over the board, then everything goes black and chrome freezes. When it returns, it says "WebGL Context Lost" Anyone got a fix for this? I don't think anything has changed on my end and it's not a new map with any new assets that could be causing this. (To clarify, this is happening to everyone who uses Chrome in my game, and I've already tried clearing the cache)
Follow-up. I found a few old posts on this site. One suggested reducing the resolution of textures, another toggling off the check-box for performance enhancers. I did both of these and it does seem to have fixed it! But I'll happily take other advice to resolve it without the performance loss.
