Trying to find a game on Roll20 but am experiencing some issues. First, few games being played today that are free. Second, no games are being played strictly on Roll20. I have to sign up with three or more sights, just to play a single game. Finally, while DMs can advertise their games, players do not have a method of advertising themselves. I Think R20 could use a "Session 0 Tavern" function. Moderators keep a jump in game open that takes place in a tavern and has no story. Just a place, set in a given world (each one having its own S0 tavern), where DMs can find players and players can find DMs, all while staying in character. DMs play NPCs that start adventurers on their journey, while players just play their characters. All on one map featuring the tavern proper, a gladiatorial ring for players to pit their characters against each other (where the moderator will perform most of their DM duties), and perhaps a few other odds and ends. Once a playgroup forms; the DM of that group leaves, starts their game, and invites their new friends to join it. To test this, I was thinking of starting an adventure called "the Infinite Tavern". However, I have a free account and cannot set the game to public. Any suggestions for how I can proceed with my experiment?
