Winter is a Gaslamp Fantasy setting with strong ties to Psychological
thrillers. It's endless night is the perfect place for creatures and
people alike to creep in the shadows and its people have been hardened
by a long existence of brutal circumstances. Campaign So Far:
The party has joined up with a growing rebellion within the High
Dominion of Senna to overthrow the oligarchy that has controlled the
region, but what they have discovered along the way is the baron system
within the region is worshiping something stranger and dark. This game
is still in the early days and is less than 20 sessions in. With a small
group it would still be easy to add new players. Genre (In order of importance): Gaslamp Fantasy, Psychological Thriller, & Grimdark Keywords (In order of importance): Light vs Dark, Winter, Horror, Isolation, & Survival Visual Description: Much of the setting takes it's visual ques from Victorian clothing styles mixed with a high fantasy setting. Magic Description:
The overall setting would best be described as moderately magical. It
is common enough that it is used in day to day life, but not common
enough that every woman and child is able to cast spells; however, the
setting itself is charged with magical creatures and regions. Technology Description:
While the styles of the people and clothing are very victorian, their
technology lacks behind. There are no cars or trains or anything like
that, but there are some low levels of technology like light bulbs, ice
boxes, and basic fire arms. Race Restrictions:
Many of the canon D&D races exist in this setting but as seen as
monsters instead of people; however, players are able to choose from the
following. Human, Elf, Half-Elf, Dwarves, Gnomes, Halflings, Drow,
Duergar, Svirfneblin, & Shadar-Kai. (of course we can always reskin
things.) Class Restrictions:
None, but artificers would have to be heavily skinned in order to make
sense in this setting and have their technology levels lowered. Campaign Details Players must complete a player questionnaire with details about their backstory that will be worked into the campaign itself. Sessions Length: Sessions will last between 2-3 hours for three players and 3-4 hours for any number of players past that. Payment: $20 per player per session via PayPal. Time: Thursday 8pm EST ( LFG Link ) A

that time, I’ve built a vibrant and inclusive community of players who
are not only skilled and enthusiastic but also welcoming and supportive.
Many of us have been adventuring together for over a year, with some
players joining me as far back as my earliest days running games
professionally. My
approach to gameplay is roleplay-driven, with a focus on character
interaction, narrative depth, and collaborative storytelling. While
combat is less frequent, it is always meaningful and impactful,
typically occurring every other session. That said, combat pacing may
vary depending on the group’s playstyle and the unfolding events within
the campaign. Above
all, I aim to create a comfortable, engaging, and respectful
environment where everyone can enjoy the game we love. My goal is for
each session to feel like a gathering of good friends around a
table—sharing stories, laughter, and epic moments together. Other Services I Offer Fully
