The DM Hi I'm Amy, I've been a professional DM for about a year now. In this time I've really learned what type of campaign genre's and theme's. I am strongest in which is horror set in a fantasy world. I create campaigns with heavy role-playing and some light combat that rewards creativity and out the box thinking . I encourage all my players to have indepth characters backstories so I can implement it into the campaign. I value rule of cool over rule as written and enjoy creating homebrew places and equipment, weapons and Lore.  When I run a campaign it is set in forgotten realms so I follow the canonical lore and expand on it for my own twists. I like making friends with my players to encourage a very open and friendly table. If you like a campaign that has music to set the ambiance and a DM that is self taught in creating unique NPC voices then you may like how I run things.  THE CAMPAIGN A campaign for players of all level of experience. If you enjoy a long term campaign that's heavy role-playing with combat that's pirate themed, then come join the adventure ☠️ The Devil’s Island ☠️ Gold has a way of finding the desperate… and the foolish. You were both. Seven thousand platinum. Split between strangers. All for a simple job-no blood, no risk, just a staged heist in one of the most luxurious taverns you’ve ever set foot in. Steal a ruby, outplay the competition, walk away richer than you’ve ever dreamed. Easy. It was supposed to be easy. But somewhere between the laughter, the wagers, and the clink of fine glasses… something changed. The other crews never made it back. Their ships were found broken-dragged beneath black waves, crews drowned, cargo lost to the deep. And somehow… every whisper, every accusation, every scrap of evidence points to you. Now you’re not competitors. You’re fugitives. To clear your names, you’ll need to do the unthinkable-steal a ship, outrun the law, and chase the truth across unforgiving seas. But the deeper you dig, the worse it gets. There are rumours. Of an artifact called the veilbreaker, stolen the same night as the ruby. Of storms that rise without warning, swallowing fleets whole. Of the dead… refusing to stay buried. Out on the open sea, it isn’t just pirates hunting you. The ocean remembers. And something beneath the waves wants you dead. Cost is £17 per session  Players start at level 3 Wednesday 7PM 0/7   Sign up through start playing Sunday 7PM 0/7   Sign up through start playing INFORMATION  This campaign starts at level 3 and will end around level 17/18, so this is a long term campaign  This campaign will have ghosts, zombies, pirates, a litch. If you aren't interested in fighting against things like this then you won't enjoy this campaign  For classes and subclasses, I'm pretty open to all books but if you want to go for a homebrew route please ask for permission  For Stats, I do not mind how you get them as long as you have your basic stats before you join the campaign  For payment I am a professional DM through start playing so if you want to join this campaign that is where the official sign up is. Which will be in the links.  Managing certain loot and money is integral to the Game as you will have a ship to run, improve on and eventually you may want to hire some crew as you go on your adventures  SAFETY TECHNIQUES  In Session 0 I not only go over knowing what my player boundaries are but I inform my players of my own boundaries. Session 0 is also a great way to manage expectations before the game starts. If due to any reason a problem arise, I will have another session 0 to remind everyone of boundaries and safety techniques  I do breaks in the sessions to let my players have a chance to think, let them have a time to rest mentally for 5 or 10 minutes, or how ever long my players need, so they know they are able to get something to eat or go have a toilet break During intense sessions I inform and remind everyone that my Dms are always open so they are aware if they do feel uncomfortable at one point and I am not aware and don't want to say it outright i will take it seriously and make sure to keep the player comfort a priority. At the end of intense sessions I always check in on my players to make sure they are okay
