Help with Player Tokens?

Hello everyone, I started a new game yesterday and we ran into trouble with token creation. I have the game settings set to allow my players to create their own tokens, however, they don't have the same options as I do. For example, they didn't have the dropdown for "Represents Character" or "Name" under General on the left when you double click a token. They also didn't have the "Attribute" drop down selection next to their Bar selections on the right side. I was having them follow this tutorial that allows them to link their tokens to their DNDBeyond character sheets via the Beyond20 browser plugin ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y01JkM88NN0&t=78s ). But again, they didn't have those options. As a DM, I have those options and am able to follow those steps exactly. However, another problem I run into is that nothing seems to save. I'll set it all up, save, exit the game and when I come back to the game -- all the tokens are de-linked again and token bar attributes are reset. Is there a setting I'm missing? If you watch the video I posted, it's at the timestamp and it's about a minute of explaining what I'm doing. Many thanks in advance if anyone has a solution!
Players do not have the ability to configure those Token settings. Game settings allow players to import their own characters, but they do not allow a player to create their own tokens and link them to a character. Because the tokens are not linked to a character, there will not be any attributes to link to. As GM you will have to do most of the set up for the tokens, including linking them to a character sheet. If you upgrade to Roll20 Pro, then you can use a Mod (API) script to allow players to change those settings themselves with chat commands. When you say that "nothing seems to save", do you mean that you have tokens on the VTT page that are linked, and then when you log back in all of those tokens are delinked? That is a bug. However, if you mean that you set up tokens by linking them to a character sheet, and then later on pull that character sheet out from the Journal and the tokens are no longer linked, that means that you missed a step. When you set up a token and link it to a character, the very last step needs to be saving that Token as the Default for the character sheet. You can do that either from the Token Settings window directly, or from the Character Edit page. This allows for you to make temporary changes to a token that don't get saved as the default for that character in the future, which is intended behavior. The Beyond20 browser extension simply requires that there be a character with the exact same name in Roll20 as the character's name in D&D Beyond. One caveat is that Beyond20 does not import any data into Roll20 onto a character sheet. All it does is recreate rolls that are made from D&D Beyond in the Roll20 chat window, and if you have a token linked to a character with the same name, then it can automatically adjust hit points if Bar1 is set to the 'hp' attribute.
