Hello, We are looking a reliable, mature player for our long-term (40+ sessions) weekly game. The current campaign has just completed its 20th session, and should have many sessions more to go, barring a TPK. It will be followed by another campaign (This is our seventh campaign as a group). The next campaign will be Dark Heresy 1e. THIS IS NOT D&D Tuesdays 1800-2200 CST -5 GMT We are looking for a motivated player that is willing to make a commitment and put in the effort to make sure they are there for the game. The group has been together for six years, and are very newbie-friendly. We are mostly older gamers, and all are laid-back. We like a little IC chat on Discord between sessions, but it is optional (but rewarded). Experience in TTRPGs is not required. All materials provided for free. We play online using Discord audio and Roll20 VTT, both free accounts. We are playing in a gritty, historical Day After Ragnarok setting (no pulp, no occult, no magic), using the Morrow Project 4e rules (tweaked for a 1946 tech level). Role-play, investigation, intrigue, exploration, and combat are common, and close team-work is crucial. Decisions have consequences, and the campaign is very much player-driven. The PCs are the NCOs of a Airborne Platoon stationed in Europe. Their company commander loathes them (in no small part because of PC choices), and this conflict sparks a number of RP situations handled between sessions. And again, between-session activity is optional. Some house rules: Your PC is in the US Army in 1946, in the middle of a war, so their choices need to be made within that context. The party breaks regulations for their own advantage, but like combat, it is a calculated risk. no PVP or theft from PCs or the party no murder-hoboes share the spotlight, work as a team If you are interested, send a friend request on Discord to Mondo#3294
