Hello, I have a few games I am currently hosting or upcoming and I am looking for mature (21+) players interested in playing games other than D&D. Newbies are welcome, I am happy to teach people who are new to any system or new to the hobby in general. My games are high roleplay, character driven experiences with focus on emotional arcs, messy relationship, and character focused stories. Topics explored can range from tender romance to bitter rivalries to tense familial bonds. Combat is usually less frequent in my campaigns. I like to think that in my game relationships can matter more than mechanics. They rules are there to determine ability of those we portray not their choices. I have a group of very talented and creative players in the games I am currently hosting, though I am interested in reaching out and expanding to others who are interested and may make good additions to the games or players in upcoming games. The current games systems I am running on Roll20 are Tuesday evening {est} - Northwatch Ambassadors (Defiant) - a game about supernatural nobles trying to manage their courts, relationships, and reputations as they stand and resist the apocalypse Thursday evening {est} - Nightwatch {Cosmere} - a game about a group of newly bonded Knights Radiants and their retinues trying to stop the forces of Odium, or at least to save as many people as they can. For upcoming games I am planning City of Mist - Wednesday evening {est} - A game about a group of people who have become aware that they are living out the stories of various fictional characters in a city with others like them. A potential Hazbin/Hellaverse themed Defiant mini campaign set around Lilith's Rebellion (This is mostly TBD) If you are interested please tell me more about yourself and what interests you about these concepts either here or in a direct message. Space in limited though I am thinking of setting up a time slot for shorter campaigns so I can interact with more players. Unfortunately the success of having a group of dedicated players who love your games and that you love to run games for means that it can be difficult to meet other people who may also be fascinating and wonderful friends and players. I will also say I want to make sure anyone I am adding to a game will be a good fit, though with games in planning the field is more open. As for me. I have been running games for over two decades. It is my main hobby and I went to college mainly to tell and make better stories. I always have been more focused on people rather than things even when I was younger. I have run a myriad of systems in my time as a Game Master and met several really great friends through TTRPGs. I work full time but I enjoy telling stories and I am eager to tell more. While I don't hate D&D, I find other systems do a lot better than it does and thus I prefer them over D&D. Hope to hear from you all!
