About me (The DM) Hello all, so a
quick bit about me I have dm'd and finished 5+ campaigns now - all very
long and with a ton of crazy and fun moments. I pride myself on making
characters feel special. Everyone is the main character in my story. I
do my best to create sub plots for your characters back stories and
getting you all deeply involved in the game. I love to make every game I run feel like a unique experience that only you get at my table. I have been taking a few year break from being a DM due to life circumstances so I might be a bit rusty but I'm sure in no time I'll be back to good. How I Like To Run My Games * I make my rolls in public so death can be a real possibility with some encounters. * I add a bit of humor to my games * I like to add some quests/encounters that bring up players backstories. * I will let you attempt anything within reason. Basically the "OK BUT" Perks of my games : * If you
are wanting to do downtown in between sessions where it makes sense, I
will RP with you through discord text with you. Thus giving you a chance
to have your own spotlight shown on your character. * Dynamic Lighting * I pick dynamic music based on the scene the chars are in. Playing the game: * Runs from 6 PM Central Standard Time for about 3-4 hours every Wednesday. * The world is dynamic and will react to the players choices. * If you can't make it please try to let me know asap. I would like to have at least 3 players to run the game. * I try to run a balanced game of 50% Role play and 50% combat but will adjust to how the party wants to play. What are the Basic Rules of Play? * You are part of a party so make a character that would ACTUALLY be part of a group. * No stealing from other party members. No PvP within the party unless Role played out and makes sense. * We are here to have fun so please don't be an ass just to be an ass. * You need to have a mic to play. * Again please let me know if you can't make it to the game so I can adjust encounters, loot, etc. Character creation: * 27 Point Buy or Standard Array. (If you are new and confused I would recommend using DnD Beyond for help!) * Official races are all okay. Note: This module does have some heavy themes at times so if there's something that bothers you please be sure to let me know prior to the game starting and I will work to accommodate you.
