Dungeons and Dragons 5e Breath weapon macro

I'm having some trouble with getting a proper macro to work that will roll for damage and pulls stats off from the character sheet for the DC save. So far i have this but i get errors: /me inhales deeply and breathes forth a 15 foot cone of snow and ice! /roll 2d6 for damage DC= 8 + @{CON Mod} [Constitution Mod] + @{PB} [Proficiency Bonus] Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Try this... /me inhales deeply and breathes forth a 15 foot cone of snow and ice! [[2d6]] for damage DC = [[8 + @{CON Mod} [Constitution Mod] + @{PB} [Proficiency Bonus] ]]

it rolls the dice but i get this: Could not determine result type of: [{"type":"M","expr":"8+1"},{"type":"L","text":"Constitution Mod"},{"type":"M","expr":"+(ceil((1)/10000000000)+ceil((1)/4))"},{"type":"L","text":"Proficiency Bonus"}]

In Aaron's example, it's using text descriptors [Constitution Mod] you can only use that with an inline roll that contains a dice roll. Since it's adding a raw "8" and not a roll, it will give you an error. You can resolve this by either taking out the descriptors [Constitution Mod] and [Proficiency Bonus] or make that 8 a 8d1 or 1d1+7
