We're looking for one more player for a
Pathfinder 1e group on Friday nights. Experience isn't required; I'll happily
teach newbies. I fixed this post because we swapped a player from one game to another, so the empty spot is now on Fridays. This game is Isekai-themed, but hopefully less cheesy (no video game
feel or OP power fantasy). You'll create a fictional "real
world"
character (someone from Earth) who died and ended up in the body of
someone else in a fantasy world. You'll also create the stats for the
new fantasy body, but the GM will create their backstory. The point of
this is for a bit of added mystery: figure out how you got here, who
this new person
was/is, and if there's any means to get back home. This game is 18+, but I will try not describe anything in graphic detail.
I use the black curtain and can tone down any subject if players are
too uncomfortable. These themes are meant for a bit of realism and not
for pure shock value. This is also NOT an ERPG. This game will involve fantasy politics... NO direct real world politics! The current available races are Human, Half-elf, Half-orc, Catfolk, Dwarf, the 4 elemental races, and Tiefling.
Others might be approved, but for sure no monsters, goblinoids, or
lizardfolk. All non-core rule book classes and archetypes need to be
approved. Unchained rogues are fine. No 3rd party content. To apply, please send me a private message telling me
a little bit about yourself, including your strengths and weaknesses as
a player, your expectations from the GM and other players, potential
triggers we'd need to avoid, and the preferred race and class of your
fantasy character. I don't want statblocks or pages of text, so send me
something like the following: "Mr.
Joe Davis is the senior IT guy employed by a hospital group. He dies in
a
plane crash to Hawaii and wakes up in a half-elf nobleman's body in a
world filled with
monsters and magic. Said nobleman was a paladin to a god Joe has never
heard of before. A battle starts and, knowing nothing of this new town,
religion, or family, nor the attacking army, he chooses to join a group of commoners in fleeing
town. Soon after he decides to adventure to find answers to his
perdicament and decides he wants to learn what it is to be a paladin... to
fill the role his new body's previous possessor once filled." Feel free to ask questions here or in private. Thanks and happy gaming!
