place party and place token issues

Hi not exactly a sheet issue more of a tabletop one but I really could not decide where to put the post. if this is wrong please feel free to move the question to a more proper forum. when using a place party feature the token are at first distributed in a compact way around the point a clicked but then they are moved one above the other to use only one square so I need to spread them again. Can they be left slightly spread around the clicking point. Also the default token seems not to remember the tooltip "show" checkbox status. we have some new players so using the tooltip is useful to remember which token is which. I did properly set the default token (twice to be sure) but the show check seems forgotten. is this a bug or some sort of active choice? thanks Andrea

Hi Andrea L.,&nbsp; The default token not remembering the tooltip "show" checkbox status has been a bug for about 3-4years.&nbsp; The current workaround is to open the character, click Edit, then set the token up via "Edit Token Properties".&nbsp; That will keep the checkmark unless something has changed.&nbsp; Regarding Place Party, I cannot suggest any workarounds.&nbsp; As always, I suggest filing bug reports for both issues via the Help Center:&nbsp;<a href="https://help.roll20.net/hc/requests/new" rel="nofollow">https://help.roll20.net/hc/requests/new</a>

HI, I really like the idea of the place party action to quickly move players onto a new map but found the new tokens don't contain any status markers, tooltips or current bubble values so unfortunately I'm unable to use it Unless things have changed recently.

bubble is maintained for me and also tooltips are, now that i followed gauss instructions.&nbsp; status marker i think are not moved by design. i don't know if they are kept if you update the default token

hi everyone i have another strange issue linked to place party. some token are shaded as if a tint is applied but inside the tint is clear BUT if i select clear and save then the token clears!!! this is just as an heads up as i've opened a ticket on this too (464419 if anyone is interested)
