We use DISCORD for Voice chat and Session planning. Cameras optional, I don't use one currently. Session 1: May 31st 3pm AKST, 4pm PST, 5pm MST, 6pm CST, 7pm EST,  First off: 18+ is specifically because I do not want to play with children. We generally don't touch on 18+ subjects often.  If we do it's usually descriptions of gore, drug use, etc. I use a fade to black method and will discuss with you what your individual comforts. I do not enjoy playing D&D to make people upset or uncomfortable, I enjoy it to share a story, see my players be goofs and have a good time.  Summary:  We have 3/7 players. LGBTQ+ friendly, running a 12 level module. Primarily 2014 rules for 5e 3 of the players are long time friends that I've played D&D with. I've met all of them either through roll20 LFP or facebook groups LFP. They're a good bunch from a variety of backgrounds and all over the age of 30. The first part of the campaign is traditionally called Lost Mines of Phandelver which takes the party to level 4. That will likely take us a few months or longer depending on how often we are able to play.  We play regardless of whether you are there or not if we have 4 players.   About Me:  I'm Ed, I'll be your DM. I'm a fairly open-minded but tough GM.  I've got about 13 years experience GMing. I've ran multiple D&D editions, other game systems and have most of my experience as a DM/GM. I'm 31 years old, located in Alaska and have a happy lil family with 4 kids. I'm a gamer, nerdy and am a heavy equipment operator for work. What we are looking for:  We need players that are friendly, know how to use roll20, are not antagonistic to other party members, and can show up consistently. We don't like power-gamers or meta-gamers, If you have NOT played either module within the last few year (Lost mines of Phandelver or Phandalin and Below: The Shattered Obelisk) You do NOT need to be familiar with D&D 5e 2014 or D&D 5e 2024. You DO need to be familiar with tabletop RPGs and roleplaying.  You must be able to speak English clearly and fluently, don't care what nationality, ethnicity or background you come from. Character Creation: Character creation will follow my in-game character creation rules. They do differ from the PHB of both versions of 5e.  This is just PART OF IT If you use 2024 material, stick with 2024 rules and options overall, if you use 2014 stick with nothing that is 2024 or newer. Some . We are using the 5e 2014 rule system overall.   Any official material can be discussed for use . Please make your character something that fits Sword Coast, Forgotten Realms lore.  3rd Party Content & Homebrew 3rd party races, classes, subclasses and feats will be considered. If that race already exists from an official source you should use that version instead. I don't want to have to rewrite a bunch of 3rd party class abilities just to make it balanced, keep that in mind.  Same for homebrew.   Any 3rd party content & Homebrew used must be referenced easily and be approved prior to use. Any Race, Class, Background: must be forgotten realms lore friendly and explainable.  Alignment: Any alignment just remember you're playing with others not against them. This is a co-operative campaign. Boon: Choose 1 of the following - One ability score changed to 16 before any bonuses apply. - One bonus feat (origin if 2024) -   1 skill, 1 language, 1 tool and a +1 to one stat.  ABILITY SCORES: You may take the pre-determined roll that is given the in players handbook: 15, 14, 13, 12, 10, 8 You may use the Ability score roll macro which automatically rolls 4d6 dropping lowest, 6 times. You may reroll this full set once but are required to keep it even if its worse. (There's a macro already made) APPLICATION FORMAT:  Name or Nickname: Age: Timezone: D&D Experience: Roll20 Experience: What are you looking for in a game?: Any interesting information about yourself?: Do you have a particular character or class you're looking to play (if the answer is no, that's fine.)?: Discord Username:
