While the finished product got mixed reviews, it did certainly get the discussion rolling. It was a blast to write and I enjoyed running it a lot. I don't intend to go with B movie tropes as a rule of thumb, but it is an interesting little dash to have tucked away in my bag of tricks. I think I will leave the whisper macros in the game as they allow characters to have side discussions with much more ease. You could have always done this with /w [character_name] "blah-blah" , but I don't think I ever saw it done in a game before. As I do not see the text I don't really know if Kelyn and Arcanon were exchanging recipes or planning to double-cross Diuth, but a solid string of notifications tells me that the two quietest players suddenly had a lot to say. As long as it doesn't become the only way you communicate, or you send us all some of the cookies, I will make sure all active characters have macros. The awards: Best Lead Character Reaction : Arcanon for his reaction to the books and subsequent fire trap. Best Supporting Character Move: Egandrol for picking a fight with the guy who decided seconds before to use him for a distraction. Best Sneaky Move By Character : Kelyn for hiding the book she found in the basement and not saying a word about it during the game. Best Seeing the Obvious Prize : Gurland for saying "Don't open that!" seconds before Arcanon set off the fire trap. Ta Dah!
