I think Wizards will supply your player with a free replacement. Yeah that's what another player told me. I still have to pay shipping though. Amazon's return policy is only good for 30 days so too late for that. Kurt said: I don't really use my physical copy that much, just the PDF. My philosophy is that of using ROMs (back in the day): I buy the physical product mostly to support the company and to alleviate any guilt about using pirated PDFs :) I like to have a physical copy for spells because in the B&W OCR copy floating around spells aren't searchable and quicker than using scroll wheel. In all former PHBs I've used I got really good at flipping open to the exact, or close, page I needed info on so eventually it would be quicker than using the "Find" tool. I do find myself using the MM PDF though since I have to search for info they didn't include in the stat block (epic fail). However, I've decided to get my money back for my MM before it is too late. All in all I'm just so hurt by this. I feel let down by the company I put hard work into play testing over a year for the "edition of the players". The system came out decent, but the delivery was a slap to the face. [Sorry for rant. Just a little peeved atm.]
