howdy folks! i'm wendy, and i'd like to play a warhammer ttrpg, preferably 40k, but i'm open to fantasy! i just know barely anything about it. as for my brief intro: i'm a 27 year old queer individual of unknown providence who has been playing some form of ttrpg on and off for almost 20 years at this point. i like crunchy mechanics and deep combat, but above all else, my interest is in making friends and then telling a cool story with those friends! i'm opening this up to the wide world of roll20 randos bc not many of my other friends have an interest in warhammer at all, which is fair considering the setting and some of the fanbase. speaking of, i'd like to be open about where i lie in terms of the warhammer fandom: i think games workshop is incompetent at best and predatory at worst, the imperium of man is a fascist empire which should not be praised or emulated, space marines are overrated (though still cool!), the setting isn't nearly queer enough, and i think you can do whatever you want to the lore as long as everyone's having fun. as far as the games go, i've got only the faintest amount of experience with DH2E (like, less than 10 sessions), so i'm not well equipped to DM, but i'd give it a shot if no one else expresses any interest! if i did run a game, right now i'm percolating a multisplat type experience (do people say that about the warhammer ttrpgs?) mixing at least a couple of the older FFG games. right now i've got some ideas for a rogue trader game that incorporates black crusade as the eclectic crew of weirdos falls to the temptations of chaos. i'm open to playing just about any of the games, though, and i'd love to try out wrath and glory especially. scheduling-wise i'm free on monday, wednesday, and thursday after about 6-7pm PST (which is tragically late in all other time zones, i know), before 6 PST on saturdays, and my sundays are unfortunately spoken for. anyways i think that should be all the important stuff! if you're interested, drop a reply and let me know if you'd be willing to shoulder the burden of DM, or if you're another prospective player, what times work for you, your experience in warhammer/ttrpgs, and anything else you'd like to share! blood for the blood god and all that!
