Looking for party

I'm on the newer ish side of dnd players, I love the game, have an extremely flexible schedule (might change, looking for a job/trying to get into school). I'll play what ever is fun with the group/setting, just looking for more experience and to try out different things and maybe make some friends along the way. I have only played 5e 2014, am open to other versions for the most part. Thank you for reading.

Hey Nessy! Have you considered trying out a West Marches styled campaign? You can post or join games at times that fit your schedule and between game sessions your character(s) can explore the World of Aspirion through our text-based roleplaying system! We have over 150 members and have hosted over 1,000 games since we started last May. While that might sound busy you learn screen names quick, as for 5e, you'll learn that even quicker. The focus of the server is telling an exciting game, while the rules are important no one is going to bite your head off for getting something wrong. You'll be reminded of what the rule is and how it works and then the session will continue. For many of our players this is their first experience with dnd and they absolutely love it. Check my current game. It is set in a huge city characters can be fighters, wizards, thieves or bards. Think Fahferd & the Gray Mouser or Thieves world. It is set up as a Westmarches style game with each session being complete and it is run with whichever players show up. Using a rumor/contacts system each character will have information. Game will run Thursdays & Fridays at 8 PM EDT.  I have extensive experience as a DM dating back to Chainmail.
