Secret Rolls + Roll Templates

Roll20 needs a way to use secret rolls with roll templates , working the same way whisper does for output visibility. Right now, as sheet authors, we can already create whispered rolls by updating button code, and that works fine. The problem is with secret rolls : there’s no way to combine secret rolls with roll templates, even though custom sheets like GURPS 4E rely heavily on roll templates for consistent formatting. This is especially important for custom character sheets and custom roll templates where GMs want: • GM-only results (secret rolls), • Consistent visual formatting (roll templates), • And the ability to control this via sheet buttons, just like whisper. Request: Please add support for secret rolls that work with roll templates , mirroring how whisper handles output routing. This would greatly improve custom sheet flexibility and make it easier for GMs to run hidden checks without sacrificing roll template formatting.

I can't believe this was not part of the plan. We have been needing 'Blind Rolls' from character sheets for years.

@Mike : That’s the first thing I tried and was almost not surprised of not seeing it work as Roll20 has made a design habit of half-baked functionality.

They just released the new Secret Rolls feature; however, it doesn't work with Roll Templates.
