DND 5E 2024 It would be nice if the metadata tags that already exist on weapons could be queried/referenced when adding advanced attributes to attacks/effects/features. For example, a pike is a heavy weapon. If I add a pike to my inventory, then click open the item and 'add attacks' to create an attack action from that item, that action should inherit the weapon attributes of the weapon that created it. This would allow, for example, a player to go onto the Combat tab of their character sheet and create an 'Effect' that executes the benefits of Great Weapon Master. They would go into Advanced sub-menu (the gear cog) and add a damage Modifier that only applies when an attack is made with a weapon that has the tag for 'Weapon Property: Heavy' (or something like that). This has broad applicability, including the introduction of other homebrew, such as thing like homebrew Weapon Masteries, or items/effects that give specific bonuses when making attacks with certain types of weapons, etc.
