I use a unique initiative system the spells go on segment cast but a 10 is 1 segment so that the higher the segment the lower number on intuitive a 2 segment spell would be 9 initiative. Also missile weapons add a a plus so a second attack is not grantee. For hand weapons you also add a modification to the initiative so a character with a short weapon might go first instead of the current rules. Movement is also based on initiatives and has a modification based on several factors not the standard dexterity but modified. I'm only halfway through your video. Are there any work around available.
