Backdrop: Detect Dominant Color has never worked

This is a long standing problem but I find myself particularly annoyed by it today. Selecting this box has, since release, done absolutely nothing and I have to go to an external website to select a hex # from my map image and then input it manually. Is this going to be fixed ever?

Hi Guildmaster Grim! Actually, it did work when released (in my experience, anyway). Unfortunately, it seems to have broken at some point after release. I agree it needs to be fixed. I know it has been reported.

I guess that was so long ago that all I can remember is it NOT working lol I sure hope it is fixed soon. They're adding lots of new features but not quite optimizing old ones like their text editor (the bane of my existence) and the background color thingy.

The text editor is super touchy, since it touches just about every part of Roll20. They did replace it once, about 8 years ago. It was a rough transition. The difficulty (IMHO) would be to switch it out with something better that doesn't absolutely trash all existing content.
