Has HP sync between DDB and Roll20 stopped working?

Hey all, For years, my groups have been viewing their DDB HP and Temp HP via the token attributes method (where I, the GM, add the "hp" and "temp_hp" attributes to their tokens in Roll20, which allows updates to these numbers in DDB be automatically updated on Roll20). A couple of days ago, one party levelled up, and when I went to make a couple of updates to token art, I found that those numbers no longer seemed synced to DDB. Changes to HP totals aren't showing up on the Roll20 side, and one brand new token isn't showing any number at all - just the blank it started with. I've double-checked my settings against the unedited Roll20 tokens (which are still showing the Full Health total in the "hp" bar, but not updating when those numbers are changed in DDB) and the instructions I used the last time I set this up (it's been a couple of years), and I can't get it working. Furthermore, both visible bars on the new token (and the "hp_temp" bars - designated as Bar 3 - on all other tokens) has a little plus sign (+) to the right of it that I've never seen before. I've checked my other campaigns, and even tokens that haven't been edited at all are showing the "failure to update" issue. Has DDB finally done something that properly broke this sync, or has something else changed that I don't know about? Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi Ari! It might help if you described how the information was originally being updated. Roll20 runs in a sandbox, so it generally can't react to external data unless a browser extension or similar is involved. Usually in this case, this is Beyond20. If so, this would be the first place to look for a breakdown in a previously working situation. Also, when you say "you added the attribute to their tokens:, do you mean you added it to their characters? Tokens cannot add attributes, only link to sheets or just use static data. Finally, what sheet are you using? The 2024 5.5e sheet has less ability to expose and receive data than the legacy sheet.
The HP sync between DDB and Roll20 is done through a browser extension called Beyond20 . It's a third-party extension and DDB and Roll20 have no control over how it functions, and the extension can break any time that DDB or Roll20 makes changes on their websites. The best place for help is on the Beyond20 Discord Server . You can see the current Known Issues on that channel, and if you don't see your issue there, you can ask for help on the Support channel. Currently there is a Known Issue for HP Sync not working on Legacy Roll20 Games, and several Known Issues related to Dice Rolls not appearing for various reasons, along with listed workarounds.
Hi - yes, it's via Beyond20, sorry - it's been so long since I initially set it up that I missed an obvious piece. The Roll20 games are set up to use the 2014 character sheets but the game is a Jumpgate one. We've had on and off issues with dice rolls, but nothing like this, and the sync (attributes added on the Roll20 side, matching character names, etc.) was set up and working correctly on both campaigns as of couple of months ago (the last time any major change was made to any of the DDB character sheets). There haven't been any configuration changes or level-ups since then; we only noticed it when a level-up happened today. My guess was that the update on the DDB side triggered an update that broke the integration somehow.  I guess I'll have a look on the Discord, thank you.
