[LFG] First-time Storyteller seeking 3-4 players — Vampire: the Masquerade 5e

System: Vampire: the Masquerade, 5th Edition Platform: Roll20 (maps & sheets) + Discord (voice) Seats open: 3-4 Schedule: Weekly Session length: ~[3 hours] The pitch: Welcome to Adelia — a city where everyone owes somebody. Your coterie's debt just came due: a power broker wants a missing childe found, and no isn't an option. Personal horror, coterie politics, and consequences that don't go away. Full transparency: this is my first time running a tabletop game, period. I've done the reading and I'm putting in the prep, but I'd love at least a couple of players with some V5 or tabletop experience to help the table find its rhythm while I learn the ropes. Total newcomers are welcome too — we'll figure it out together. Heads up — this game is streamed. Sessions run live on my Twitch channel. Your voice will be audible on stream (no camera needed — I run as a pngtuber, so no one's face is required). If being heard on a public stream isn't for you, no hard feelings, just want you to know going in. Looking for: - Some tabletop or VtM experience appreciated, not required - Reliable voice comms and consistent attendance - Patience with a new ST, and okay with mature/dark themes — we'll set lines & veils together in session zero To apply: drop a line about what draws you to VtM, your general availability, and whether streaming is a dealbreaker.
I would like to play. I have lots of experience with VtM in older editions and am even running a Chronicles of Darkness game on Saturday nights Eastern time. I am available most nights. I don't mind being streamed or anything like that. I like the look and the feel of fifth edition VtM and am super pleased with the whole hunger mechanic over a pool of blood. I can reasonably adapt to building a character around what everyone else is doing.
That would be fantastic! I'm fielding for other players right now so we can get a group going, and was thinking of running Auld Sanguine to start if there are any other newcomers.
I would be interested in joining if that's still possible. First off, I have a decent amount of experience playing TTRPG's beyond DND, (Blades In the Dark, Stars Without Number, Call of Cthulhu, etc.), and am always willing to learn how to play games such as VtM which I haven't played yet. Second, while I don't have experience in VtM, I am still interested in learning more about it beyond just what can be read online but everything I have read is quite intriguing. So long as somebody is willing to teach, or provide a cheat sheet of sorts, I am more than willing to learn. That out of the way, I don't mind mature/dark themes, I got no problem being streamed, and my availability is after 5pm CST/CDT everyday except Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Hey may well be interested! What timezone, please?
