Weapon Attacks Linked To A Macro

Is it possible to have a macro go off when you click on a weapon attack on the front of the 2014 character sheet instead of the built in macro that is used? Though I had seen it somewhere but cannot find it and have tried several different attempts and still no luck on making it work.
Can you explain a bit more what you mean and exactly what you want to have happen?

No, a button on the D&D 5e 2014 sheet is coded for a specific output. While there are tricks to add elements to the output, you cannot get that button to output an entirely different command, like a macro command.  However, you can insert chat menu buttons into the attack. Then push those when desired. They can trigger macros.  And API Script commands can be inserted into an attack (depending on the script), one of those could trigger another command.
Thanks Gauss.
