The world ended in a cataclysm over a hundred years ago very suddenly. As the lands burned and the seas boiled, those that had escaped on boats found themselves steamed alive over the course of months and those lucky enough to be in more sturdy vessels found themselves sinking beneath the boiling waves. Some scholars argued that it was a result of an experiment in the Ether gone wrong… others argued that a massive rock had slammed into their world from beyond and set it ablaze… and some argued that it was the divine will of the gods themselves. Now, the world has begun to heal, although mutating is a more accurate world. Massive floating continents of land now hover in the skies where it’s still cool enough to live, and life has adapted to these new conditions. Ten years ago, these formations of land were but small little bits of floating debris that slowly coalesced into their current forms. As the first travelers step foot into this brave new world, leaving airships that have been their homes for their entire lives, the rest of the surviving world holds its breath as they wait to see what will become of them… ------- Welcome to the Skies of Infinity!  We are using D&D 5e with quite a bit of homebrew involved and a reflavoring of the system. This setting is in a WW1 era where planes were new, tanks prowled no man's land, gas covered the fields, trains ran the majority of supplies, and when airships ruled the skies.  This server has text RP channels but games are run in VC. You won't be able to see much until after you make a character though.  We do use roll20 for mapping, and we stream for members who can't access the roll20 game. Character sheets are also done in roll20, DDB (you'll have to homebrew things, we don't own any books on DDB), dice-cloud, g-sheets, and other options... just not PDFs.  Our server is 18+ but leave the raunchy stuff outside. We're (mostly) tame. WE ONLY DO VC GAMES! WE ONLY DO VC GAMES! WE ONLY DO VC GAMES! Also, my PC recently fried and it'll be a bit before I can make maps on R20 again. For now, it's Theater of the Mind but character sheets can still be made on R20. Unfortunate, but it happens.
