LFP D&D 3.5 - DM Extraordinaire - Home Brew [Paid] - Storm from the East - Sunday Morning 10am-2pm MT (Canada) One Seat Open - 3rd Level Game

I’m John, DM extraordinaire (over 60,000 hours on R20). Feel free to check out my R20 profile. Jump to the juice and email me: taibhsear71@gmail.com Or Discord if you prefer: taibhsear #7908 I’ll give you a quick summary. I’m 55 and from Canada (originally from Toronto, but don’t hold that against me). I’ve been DMing since October 1991. I run D&D 3.5 exclusively. Seriously, you can’t even pay me to play 5e anymore. I’ve run dozens of campaigns and games over the years and still love it. Most of my content is homebrew and unique to my game, though I have borrowed from many sources over the years. Storm from the East - The players decided they wanted to do something politically themed. https://www.patreon.com/cw/TowerofJudgement The Setting Depending on which game you join, you may be in one of many areas of Thera (the world). Most of my games have taken place on Multras, the primary human continent. Multras is divided into five portions (east, west, north, south, and central), each with its own trade language (Eastern Common, Western Common, Northern Common, Southern Common, and Central Common), kingdoms, and empires. Some of these kingdoms resemble medieval European countries, such as France and Germany, while others are unique, like the Banite Theocracy of Kallum. Each has distinct languages and cultures. This Game is set in Eastern Multras. https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/360535/~gangs-of-myska~ Expectations I run open, sandbox, player-centric original content games. The central theme and story are established, but players choose what to engage with, and I let them write their own tales. I'm indifferent to the outcome, which surprises many players. I don't care how the story unfolds; although I try to make the most dramatic things happen, the dice and the players' actions are the final arbiters. With that in mind, I roll everything openly. Players roll secret checks only when they want to conceal an action or outcome. When I have time, I make most of my own maps and custom tokens for each player. I detail my loot with the players in mind. I roll randomly, but I like juicy drops, so I often pick the next thing on the table if it looks sweet. Rates Most games cost $20 (minimum) per session, but costs increase for games with fewer players (fewer than 5), longer games (6+ hours), and higher-level games. $4 per hour (with a group of 5) of gameplay (5th-9th level). $5 per hour (with a group of 5) of gameplay (10th-14th level). $6 per hour (with a group of 5) of gameplay (15th-19th). $7 per hour (with a group of 5) of gameplay (20th+). My games have no level limit, and we keep going as long as the players want to play. The highest we’ve reached is 22nd level. While the PE game is only 14th level, they already talk about epic-level stuff (20+) and post-epic stuff (30+). I have rules for both, even though I've never really gotten that high with players. Payment is made via PayPal. Roll20 is not responsible for any payment transactions and cannot enforce any private arrangements.
From the East, a storm of chaos is brewing.
On his way home after a night at The Jolly Jug, Mason hears a woman screaming. As he moves up, the screaming stops, and he finds the grizzly remains of a botched sacrifice in the alley. In the darkness, near the body, he sees the Ripper. I made a new Ripper token for combat encounters.

PC - Mason Corbinon - The Rebel Without A Cause The eighth son of House Corbinon, Mason has spent his life in his father's shadow and his older brothers'. He is the family's black sheep, bucking every tradition they honour.Corbinon Castle has an unmanned temple to Calhoun, the god of Nobility, but he journeys to Denz to tend Shaundakul's shrine. His brothers are all knights and squires, prizing the efficiency of a cavalry charge, but he stays back and uses his bow.
NPC - Maria Screven - Costly Choices Despite his position in the palace, Master Jerold Screven was little more than a well-educated commoner. After his wife's passing, he was eager to find suitable husbands for both his daughters, so marrying Elizabeth to a lord, even one on the kingdom's frontier, was a major triumph for him. Unfortunately, he died before his younger daughter, Maria, came of age to marry. King Taydale Inhyrst chose to keep her as a servant to honour her father. He intended to find her a husband, but she told the king she was happy working in the palace. While working, she often interacted with Anthor Ravyne, a close friend of the king and the martial instructor of Prince Symus.
