I have been running professional games on Roll20 for over 5 years now and playing for longer. I LOVE Roll20, this platform has not only helped me with my career but also connected with so many people and had so much fun over the years. But with that butt-kissery aside their current LFG situation is still atrocious. I challenge anyone to go to their Forums and take a peek inside the "Looking For Group: Paid Games" section and you will be absolutely bombarded by the same posting from the same Game Master over & over and over again, it's endless on that forum and prevents each Game Master from getting shown at the top of the page. The design also ENCOURAGES the Game Master to comment on their OWN posts! The more comments the more your post will get sent to the top of the page! Why is this something being allowed? Why hasn't this bee addressed or fixed? Are we really going to reward putting the most annoying Game Masters to the front/top of the page of the forums? I see better/tighter management on LFG in Discord servers, this is unacceptable at this point and needs to be fixed please, the forums need a looooong overdue revamp.
You think that's bad or the only issue? I have started running DC20 games on their platform and after a few months of posting in LFG I went to the LFG search "Playing Any of These Games" and DC20 isnt even listed...whoops! I guess they forgot that GM's can create custom character sheets for this system? Ok fine, I went to the "Matching Keywords" and typed in dc20 or DC20 and....nothing. All my DC20 games have DC20 in the title and their just not being shown...I just dont see that as being acceptable for someone not only paying the Premium service on their platform but also relying on the platform for running my paid games. Roll20 please do better and fix these issues ASAP.
