Treasure Chest contents - Disguise value?

Loving the Treasure features, especially the disguise bit, but it's no fun if the "scratty piece of vellum tied with a purple ribbon" shows a value of 4000gp. Any possibility cost can be added to the disguisable elements, more than likely as an "unknown" status until it's identified or checked out? Many many thanks
