Fantasy! Also enjoys, but does not NEED, political intrigue, exploration, horror MUST BE 18+ GAMES Howdy! I'm Altamirage, full time professional GM! I'm currently running 20 games, but I have a few time slots I'd love to fill by playing a game instead! I've been playing for about 20yrs and running for about 15. When I'm not running games, I'm playing in them, or playing videogames like Elden Ring or Sonic (unfortunately LOL), or drawing! I always prefer homebrew worlds or original plots, but if you have a really dedicated group that is super RP heavy and character focused and is a module, you're welcome to pitch it!
I have a game that needs a bit of explanation. The game is open Thursdays and Fridays 8 PM EDT. Players can attend whichever sessions they like, as long as they make an occasional appearance they are still active. It is a city based game and all sessions are episodic, so there are no cliffhangers. Characters can be Bards, Fighters, Thieves, or Wizards. I emphasize roleplay and solving problems, we are neglige' on the rules. Each character can create a number of NPCs, based on their charisma. Each week they will receive rumors from each NPC. The group will meet briefly at Mike's Bar to discuss the rumors and decide on a mission to run that night. At any given time there are at least 6 possible missions available. Players can have more than one character, they will not operate together. Players can share information amongst themselves. Characters will have macros made for most of their actions, to keep things moving. Locations are highly detailed with lighting, weather and random events built in. I currently have about 35 scenes created. Have a look and see if it is something you are interested in: The Thief's Tale An example of my game mastering a scifi game:  Stars Without Number (Space/Sci-Fi) One Shot! Hello Altamirage, This may seem like a strange way to approach D&D but personally once I tried it out I was hooked for two years straight so far across a handful of campaigns. We have been working on this project now since May 2025 with no signs of slowing down, I'd love to introduce you to the West Marches style of D&D! The Aurora Point Institute is a West Marches styled campaign that has been running for the last year and a half with over 70 active adventurers. We have an overarching World Story that updates every 2 months with 'World Events' and each chapter ending with a 'World Event Mission' that includes as many adventurers as possible over a series of games played over a weekend usually. Outside of the World Story there are dozens of DM Run Stories & Plotlines throughout the world of Aspirion, the stories interweaving and working together to build a wild and flourishing world for you to explore through an expansive text-rp world. So even if you only have 30m to play during the week you can Roleplay your character interacting with others, purchasing gear, progressing plot points, or just sitting back and enjoying a drink at the Institute's all-inclusive restaurant. A player-driven game listing system allows you to post a game listing for a time and a level that work for you and let others join up! We have games during both AM & PM all week long with investments into both PBP & roll20 + Discord VC as mediums. I think that the flexibility of finding games and roleplaying your character will be a massive boon for your playstyle! You can use our forum post here to navigate to our discord server as you wish!
