Format fonts in Recursive rollable table output.

I am running Call of Cthulhu. I have some macros set up to roll on a madness table. I am using the RecursiveTable API within that table to roll on a further table. Macro:  !rt &{template:callofcthulhu}{{name=A Bout of Madness}}{{title=Madness Gained}}{{roll=[[1t[Bouts-of-Madness-Real-Time]]]}} Example table entry:  Mania: The investigator develops a new mania of [[1t[Manias] ]] Whenever the result is a recursive roll the recursive output is of a different font and size as the original table Is there any way I can insert formatting at either the macro or table levels to equal out the formatting?

Hmm.  I tried to duplicate this in a fresh game and I'm seeing normal sizing.  Are you perhaps copying the names of the manias from some source with formatting, like a PDF or MS Word?  Those can copy hidden formatting that gets pasted along with the text.  Try creating a new table named Mania (after renaming the old one) and put one entry in it that you type directly and see if you get properly sized content.
Oh I hadn't thought about the formatting of the entries in the recursive table I'll check that.  How did you display the second screenshot? I can then compare what I have.
Went back and checked the 'Manias' table. Did as you sugested, renamed it, created a new 'Manias' table and created one entry. The formatting issue was still present. I'm going to start from scratch and create the whole setup (macro -> table -> recursive table) bit by bit without any of the template formatting and then see at what point it all goes odd.

Hmm, no luck. So with both table created from scratch, both with a single entry typed in by hand. I removed the formatting from my macro so that it looked like this: !rt roll=[[1t[Bouts-of-Madness-Real-Time]]] The single entry in the  'Bouts-of-Madness-Real-Time' table is as follows Madness Madness [[1t[Manias]]] And the only entry in the 'Manias' table is as follows Testing Testing 123 Running the macro resolved the following Putting the formatting back in the macro like so: !rt &{template:callofcthulhu}{{roll=[[1t[Bouts-of-Madness-Real-Time]]]}} Resolves this: I then altered my macro so that it used the 'default' template and re-ran it and it cam back with this: Going back to my original macro and tables, altering that template so that is also 'default' resulted in this: So it looks like there is something going on with my 'callofcthulhu' template or some other setting I have is overriding or affecting it.

Try running your game in a private browsing window, just in case there is interference from a browser extension or plug-in? Alternatively, try surrounding the second roll in a second set of square brackets? Madness Madness [[[[1t[Manias]]]]]
Thank you Keith.  I shall try both those ideas tomorrow and report back.

Try those extra square brackets elsewhere as well, like on the calling macro. I have not done much work with Recursive Tables, so I don't know how they interact with regular roll syntax.
