When logged in as a player (or in player view), light sources and darkvision do strange things. I get the same result in both FF and Chrome (both are up to date) and I have no addons. In these pictures I have a wall blocking line of sight. On each side there is a torch. On the left side there is a tiefling (with darkvision) and on the right side a human (no darkvision). I have set both characters to be controlled by all players, since we play in person and I use Roll20 to cast to a TV with a seperate player account for battle maps and stuff. At first things look like they should. In the first picture we see what both characters can see, since we controll both of them. In the second picture I'm doing a preview from the tieflings point of view and things are still as they should. But when I preview ans the human I can see what the tiefling sees, except that the light on the other side of the wall has been transformed into darkness. If I use two (or more) characters with darkvision they all get this wierd behaviour. When previewing as a character, any character can see what a character with darkvision can see, except what is in bright light since that gets turned to darkness, as long as the characters are owned by the same player. I don't get this when I'm logged in as GM, only as a player. And I thought it didn't happen with daylight mode on, but it does. But since the light makes the shared vision realy dark it's not as abvious, but it's still there. And you don't need the light for vision to be shared by characters with darkvision. I the tiefling above is standing in dakness any other character can see what they see. And I'm sorry if this is part of some new feature I have missed, but if so please tell where to turn it off. Or is it just the devs working on "is darkness"-setting for lights and accidentaly put in some of it ahead of time?
