[LFG] New-ish Player Looking for One-Shots or a Long-Term Campaign! [5e] [EST]

Hey everyone! I've been part of a friend's homebrew campaign for about two years now, and I recently joined another campaign at my local game store. I've got some experience under my belt, but I actually joined both campaigns in the middle of their stories. I'd LOVE the opportunity to start something from the beginning! The biggest reason I'm looking for another group is that my long-standing campaign meets pretty infrequently, and I'd love to play more consistently. I'm definitely open to one-shots, shorter adventures, or a long-term campaign with the right group! A little about me: I'm in my late 30s, friendly, easygoing, and enjoy a good mix of roleplay, combat, and storytelling. I've got a bit of a chaotic-good streak that tends to come out in my characters. I like having fun at the table, don't take myself too seriously, and would love to find a group of adults who enjoy joking around while still getting invested in a good story! I'm new to Roll20, but my homebrew group plays on D&D Beyond and uses Discord voice so I'm familiar with online play. I understand most of the game's mechanics, though I'd definitely appreciate a friendly, patient group while I continue learning. Availability: Most weeknights after 6 PM Eastern, with some weekend availability if I have enough notice. Ultimately, I'm just looking to meet some cool people, roll some dice, and have a good time. If you've got room at your table, I'd love to hear from you!
I have a game that needs a bit of explanation. The game is open Thursdays and Fridays 8 PM EDT. Players can attend whichever sessions they like, as long as they make an occasional appearance they are still active. It is a city based game and all sessions are episodic, so there are no cliffhangers. Characters can be Bards, Fighters, Thieves, or Wizards. I emphasize roleplay and solving problems, we are neglige' on the rules. Each character can create a number of NPCs, based on their charisma. Each week they will receive rumors from each NPC. The group will meet briefly at Mike's Bar to discuss the rumors and decide on a mission to run that night. At any given time there are at least 6 possible missions available. Players can have more than one character, they will not operate together. Players can share information amongst themselves. Characters will have macros made for most of their actions, to keep things moving. Locations are highly detailed with lighting, weather and random events built in. I currently have about 35 scenes created. Hi W_D, My name is John.  I am starting a campaign this coming Sunday on the 18th.  It is a sequel to our last campaign that recently finished up, but you would still be getting in at the start of this one.  I have 2 other PC's, and you would be the 3rd.  We game 5pm-7 or 7:30 depending on how busy our lives are, and we try to game every Sunday.  Your time would be 8-10:30 obviously.  Send me a text on Discord if you are interested to JD-tennis.  This campaign takes place in Mulhorand in the Forgotten Realms and has a distinctive Egyptian flavor.  We are a friendly, patient group with a mix of roleplay, combat, and storytelling.  We would like it if you could join us for the whole campaign.
