Well, there's actually something we could do, The idea is to build a searchable asset library using Roll20 Handouts as a database. The only downside is that we'd have to register the assets manually, but the process could be pretty simple. For example, you could drag an image from your Art Library onto the map as a token, select it, and use a command like: !art import ?{Name|} ?{Tags|} then the script would automatically capture the image URL and save it in a Handout , along with its name and tags (maybe size as well to auto apply the size when we place it). Once you've registered your assets, you could use commands like: - !art list — Browse all your saved assets, organized by category or type. - !art search dragon — Find assets by name. - !art search tag-maps — Find all assets with a specific tag, such as maps. Ideally, the script would display the results with image previews and clickable buttons, making it easy to find and use assets without digging through the entire Roll20 Art Library. to place it in the map we just need to place any image and then click on the asset in the database and set the token's imgsrc with the desire asset and auto resize if available. Keith is really good at creating scripts that use Handouts to display and organize information, so I think he could build a pretty nice interface for this. I could also give it a try, although my initial version would probably use chat-based menus and previews. Maybe I'll experiment with it in a few days, or perhaps Keith could take a look if he has the time. What do you think, Keith ? As DMs, we accumulate hundreds or even thousands of assets over time, and finding the exact image we need can become a real headache when you forget the name. We waste so much time searching for assets we already own!
