Just to say, because of limited time etc last night, that Gran's general plan is to establish the church as more of an open unmanned shrine, with pamphlets and pocket versions of the Mechanis Libris (the bible being written in accordance to the voices in her head) there for the taking. The two attendants she has hired will be responsible for it's upkeep, as well as being available to support and look after the neighborhood (street sweeping, lighting street lamps at night, odd jobs for the elderly, neighbourhood eyes for the watch etc). It is intended to be something that will pretty much run itself while she is away, with her just feeding it money and religious literature. She also wanted to have 10 lockets made, all with continual light cast inside. The idea being that they are lightproof when closed and the light shut off, but easily there to provide non fiery illumination when required. She will seek out a higher lvl cleric for the spell casting part. She would like to hand these out to the rest of the party. Also, she wanted to have a cushioned metal belt 'pouch' made, something to protect potions etc and keep them in easy reach. Finally, she wanted to have x4 three part 9ft poles made, each piece being 3ft long and being connectable with a screw thread. This would come with 3 different attachable screw on heads (hook, 'spoon', spike), each 1ft long. Oak and bronze construction. Oh, she also wanted to buy a girdle like secret cash belt that she can wear under her armour for her secret wealth stash (she isn't one to show off her money). That should do it!
