Does anyone know a good recording software for say recording a Roll20 Game? I am having trouble finding decent ones. Cam Studio has done nothing but give me trouble. From just failing to record a 3 hour session to out right bugging out. :/
There's also Open Broadcaster (OBS) if you can't afford XSplit. https://obsproject.com/ Don't forget to set Twitch to automatically archive your broadcasts. http://www.twitch.tv/settings/channel
If you're familiar wish XSplit there is also FFSplit which is an opensource equivalent, it's a little confusing to initially set up but I used to use it to record/stream my Roll20 HeroQuest game.
The only problem with hangouts broadcast/recording is that (at least as far as I know from last time I looked at it) it broadcasts the cameras but not any 'plugins' (ie. none of the Roll20 stuff).
If you are loaded in roll20 and go live in hangout, it should show your roll20 but I don't use voice and camera so I don't use the hangouts and not totally sure about it.
