New Member: Rate my Arena Map design

So yeah I just joined up recently to help run a game I've been planning with some online friends. Since the group is an odd mix of seasoned veterans and total newbies, I decided to go with a system I'm familiar with; Green Ronins d20 system using the Mutants & Masterminds 2e rule set and focusing mostly on the supplement "Warriors & Warlocks" which is more or less a "how to make D&D simple" resource. For our first session I'm running a skirmish in the form of a "Capture the Flag" game with the blue team made up of the players and the red team, all NPC's. Rather than getting into the actual story I figured this would be a good test run to see how they adapt to the system mechanics and work out any bugs involving the virtual tabletop. Heres the arena design (3640 x 3360) I threw together in Photoshop without any of the extra bells and whistles from the token archives added. Anyone have any suggestions of how to improve on it? Also anyone is free to use it as well, its in the archive tagged with "arena".
I'm sorry...I guess that seemed to needy for validation or something (LOL). I just never made a game map in Photoshop before; usually just markers on a game mat...my bad

What, did you get PM hate? I applaud your wanting to share you maps. It's perhaps not the way most people approach showing off their work, but it's a very honest post and I can certainly appreciate that. There is actually a whole (enormous) thread devoted to this kind of thing called "show us your game" if you look back a few weeks. If you want critiques off your work, or suggestions, that can certainly be had, though it's probably better to use a site like Cartographer's Guild . They have many great tutorials and lots of artists just sitting around waiting for peeps to come asking for their sage advice. Don't be discouraged though and welcome to Roll20. We're happy you're here. =D
