D&D 5e. Character Sheets Losing Weapons, Inventory, and Armor??

I have created a blank character sheet that speeds the process up for NPCs in my campaign. Is there a limit to the number of Character sheets I can use per campaign? I have 8 archived NPC and right now three PCs but the third PC keeps losing the Weapons, Inventory, and Armor. Armor class stays correct but the Armor listing itself is blank. This is D&D 5th character sheets. I tried deleting the blank Character sheet and starting from scratch, but I run into the same problem. Help please!! The first other 10 Sheets are fine.
Some if the players in my game have reported the same issue with items in their inventory vanishing.
I tried something I changed a character to an NPC...it seems at this point to keep the inventory, weapons, armor of 10 Characters Max... the character sheet has a Character/NPC button that I was unaware of. when I switched an NPC to the NPC tab and switched his states etc. it fixed the problem for now...so my guess is is that 10 characters per campaign is a limit. Try moving NPC character sheets to the NPC sheet and may help you to patrick...will update if things change again...

The Savage Worlds sheet had the same problem with the Skills. According to Steve K (dev), the problem on my sheet was I used the same field names for the NPC sheet as I did for the PC sheet. If that is how the D&D 5e sheet was set up, then Actobah (I'm assuming it's his sheet), he may have to modify the sheet so the NPC section has completely different field names than the PC section.

The NPC section of the sheet uses completely different attribute names...there is zero crossover. Many people asked for the attribute names to match between the NPC/PC sheet but for the reasons mentioned above, and many others, i deliberately kept all the attributes separate. I'm not aware of any issue that would cause inventory to be lost but there was a minor update top the sheet recently, and part of that was an update to the inventory. I dont believe that the change should have caused any issues (no attribute names were changed, an addition was made that could impact the weight carried autocalc). There shouldnt be an issue with the number of characters created either. I have many more than 8 created in my games and I imagine many others have too. Are the inventory entries lost completely? Do the autocalculated fields for weight also lose their values too? Any API scripts running on your campaigns? Any modifications done to the sheet or just using the default one selected from the campaign settings screen? Edit: Actually just re-read the original post.....are you losing weapons, inventory AND armour??

It should also be noted that you dont change the sheet to an NPC.....the toggle that switches the view between NPC and PC is simply another attribute that is either set to 1 or 0 with the relevant sheet displayed according to what it's set to. That doesnt remove, edit or otherwise change any data you have already entered in either the PC or NPC sections

Actoba, Yes I am losing completely all weapons armor and inventory. both when I enter it and my players enter it. It stays available until I log out and then it is completely gone. I hope that it is something I am doing wrong, like I said I am new to this system. I would be happy to give you my log in info and password for you to see it for yourself. I changed the sheets and redid them but my players noted lost items inventory and armor even after that. Whats weird also is that the armor calculation does not get lost. Also it is not all players which was why I questioned the number of possible PC's

It sounds as though nothing is actually being lost but for some reason the sheet isnt displaying them properly. I'd make sure you dont have any add-ons or browser extensions that could be causing issues and have a look over the generic support info roll20 usually gives out - <a href="https://wiki.roll20.net/Solving_Technical_Issues" rel="nofollow">https://wiki.roll20.net/Solving_Technical_Issues</a> Specifically, and particularly if you can reproduce the issue every time, step 4 (console logs) might hold some insight into something going wrong when the sheet is reloaded so load up your campaign, open the console as per the instructions in the link, then go through the process of creating a new character, adding some data to the inventory, and then reloading the campaign to see whether the data is still shown. If it's not I'd hope the console might give us some clue as to why. Don't be giving out your username and password to anyone though! If you want, you can PM me the join link from your campaign and when I have time I'll join the campaign to see if i can see the same issue (you'll need to assign me permissions to a character or two once i've joined).
