I want to run as a GM the Edge of the Empire beginner's box set. I have all the components in JPEG file format. Is there a walkthrough of how to set this up. Also someone made a google hangouts addon for the unique dice this game uses. Is there a way to add that on to the roll20 tabletop?

Hi, Michael. There is this API script which works in conjunction with the Edge of the Empire character sheet. Together they do all the rolling inside the Roll20 app along with tracking other EotE related stuff.

The script Steve is pointing to is really great, but not necessary. It does the job of maintaining the right dice pools and counting up successes automatically and such, but you can certainly make the dice as you suggest. In fact, I'm pretty sure the dice pools script grew out of doing just that.

I don't play EotE, but there is no reason it would not work with Rollable Tables. You'll just have to handle the same things you would handle with physical dice (which ones, how many, what is/isn't success).

There's a ton of forum posts on how to handle this aspect of EotE within Roll20 without needing a paid subscription to get Mentor /API access. Click the main Community Forums link at the top and search for "edge of the empire dice" ( Linked as well )
