Date: 28 Wealsun, 609 CY (Friday November 28th, 2014) Attendance: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Recap: The party climbs out of the tomb, with Jericho hauling the Beast's large hide over his shoulder. Thruskk suddenly has to relieve himself and ducks behind a hidden corner of the large tree, promising to catch up later. Outside of the tree, the party comes across a man covered in boils. Apparently an associate of the Beast's creator, thought to be "Baba Yaga," the man discusses potential employment with the party. Snatching up babies seems to be a means of catching Baba Yaga's attention for recruitment, and Jericho agrees to get a baby for the man later that night. Believing Jericho, the man reveals that the head guard of Marlgrove, Alicia, is in their employ. The party returns triumphantly, and the entire village cheers for them. Alicia leads them to the Mayor's office shortly thereafter. Once inside, the Mayor rewards the party with a deed to a fixer-upper home in the village. While resting in it, they are visited by Krax, a white-haired dwarf that Clifton recognizes bearing a symbol of the Seekers of the Arcane. The man has come for the sphere that Clifton found in the Tomb; after some negotiating, it is exchanged for a promise that Krax will pay for their new home's remodeling and that he'll identify Ash's wand. He also offers employment in the Seekers, if the party so chooses. After that, they head to the Inn to reunite with Gribs. A feast is going to be held in their honor there, so they go upstairs to bathe. Inside the tub, they're attacked by Alicia; Jericho manages to grapple her and dunk her head under water until Clifton breaches her mind and calms her down. The Mayor and the guardsmen arrive on the scene shortly thereafter. They arrest Alicia; apparently the Mayor believes the party's story.
