Map Preview Image

Is there anyway to disable/hide/change the map preview image in the page toolbar? I fear some of my maps might not be as secretive if it can't be.

Joshua, only you as the GM can see the page toolbar, including those preview images. Is this a problem because you and your group are sharing the same computer? Is it possible to put them on a 2nd computer, so that you're using yours as a GM screen? If not, the page preview image is the largest art asset on the page. If you really needed to obfuscate that you could upload a transparent image and re-size it to be the largest image on the page and that would change the page preview to be nothing.

I found this out by accident. I like having a visual queue, it's what I notice first when using the page toolbar. I usually have a page called "Bestiary" where I stage the monsters/npc's of the campaign. I made the background/wallpaper image using a simple parchment pattern with the word "Bestiary" in crimson red. BTW I don't believe that text from the toolbox shows in the preview. It's the page I use most often and it's visually easy to locate on the page toolbar.
Ah, I wasn't aware that the players couldn't see the toolbar. Heh, I guess that solves that problem :) Thanks for the response Steve!

If you ever want to know exactly what your players are seeing, you can go to the settings tab and scroll all the way to the bottom. The very last option is a button allowing you to rejoin the campaign as a player. This lets you see exactly as if you were a player in the game. If you do this, you can see players don't have access to the page toolbar.

Steve, I was under the impression that the preview was based on the image with the largest original dimensions, not the one with the largest current dimensions?

I just tried it. It's current. It changed as soon as I adjusted the size up and back as soon as I made it small.

I don't think that's correct Brian. You can play with it to confirm, but I'm pretty sure it's the art asset with the largest current dimensions. I.E. you drop in Asset A and it's 1x1 squares onto a blank page it will become the preview. Drop new Asset B and make it 2x2 and it will replace A as the preview. Now re-size A to be 3x3.
