Can inline dice rolling still display the dice results in chat?

Hi, new to this program... very new. Sorry if I just can't figure this one out but I can't find anything on it. I love it btw! There are two ways I can make these macros work, more for display purposes than actually getting the data right: /roll 1d20 + 4 This displays in the chat "Rolling 1d20+4" then shows the dice result images of a d20 with the result I'm trying to get rid of the "Rolling 1d20+4" line. I just want the dice images. [[1d20 +4]] Now all I get is the result, I can't show the dice results. Some of my macros have too long of code to bother hovering over it to see the results as well. Is there anything in between these options?

For inline rolls, if you point to the result, it will show you the individual dice. Also, a green border means on of the dice rolled its maximum value, red means one of them rolled its minimum value, blue means both happened. Hope that helps!

You could separate your inline roll and modifier. Like [[1d20]]+4. You would have to do the math.
Thanks for the help, but those were factors that would not help me with my goal, unfortuantely. Let me see if I can clarify better: /roll 1d20 displays 3 lines: Rolling 1d20 <19> (picture of the d20 with a 19 on it) = 19 [[1d20]] displays 1 line: 19 I know if you point to it it will say the result of the 1d20 as well. That's not what I want. Separating it is nice, but that will still display just the number, not the dice roll. What I wan't is that SECOND line when I type "/roll 1d20" but I DON'T want that first line. It's too much spam. Inline only gives the THIRD line. Is it possible?
They already told you, no.

Only way to get results like that would be an API script and use something like !roll instead of /roll. Then you could format the result however you want...but unfortunately you dont have mentor, API is only a mentor feature.
I wondered if API would be the only way. Thanks for understanding!
