Hi Ben. You have to give the players access/permission to edit their character journals/sheets. Open a journal entry>edit>Can be Controlled by Make sure to input the player's name. Should solve your issue.
Do I do that in the campaign lauched?

Ben said: Do I do that in the campaign lauched? Yes. You have to Launch the campaign, open each character journal/sheet and give permissions/control to the player. <a href="https://wiki.roll20.net/Journal#Characters" rel="nofollow">https://wiki.roll20.net/Journal#Characters</a>

Right-o. And then, likewise, your players need to go in to Join Game, and there they can access the Edit for their character sheets. By the way for the GM it says Launch Campaign, for the Players it says Join Game, either way it's the same button location to enter the game table and do your edits.

Also... Under Campaign Settings Allow players to import their own characters? Yes No Allows players (who have a subscription of their own) to import existing Characters into this Campaign. You will still have full control over the Character once it is in the game. This is useful for players who are bringing pre-generated Characters due to society-style play or for a quick one-shot. This might come into play if you have any players w/subscription that want to import a character.

You still need to give the player control of an imported character, though.
Ok I gave the players control of there characters, and when they log in they can move there token but cannot edit or see there char sheet. On the journal sheet there is no char on there screen. But on mine i see all them.

Did you give them permission to view the sheet? View and control are separate permissions.
Yeah I just figured it out. Thanks a lot guys for the help
NM I have it under control now. Had to delete all the char and remake them and now it all works.

Ben said: Hi, i was having the problem with letting people edit there char. Ok i got it so they can edit there char and now ran into they can not move there tokens. Any ideas why? I made it so they can edit and control and in players journal. They can edit but not move there tokens Have you linked the token to their character sheet? Select the token, open the sheet, edit the Bio & Info tab, make sure Edit and Controlled by is set to the player you want, make sure it's shown in that player's journal, under default token choose Use selected token. Save. Now open the token settings Under Basic, Represents Character - choose the appropriate character sheet, if you want any of the bar settings to be tied to an attribute, AC, HP, etc. make sure to pick the appropriate bar setting attribute. Save Settings. The token should now be linked and fully controlled by to the player in control of that charcter sheet.

Make sure you set what character the token represents before setting it as the default token for the character. "Default token" copies what the token looks like at that moment, and future changes don't change the default token.
