Wiki...uses...?

What are these allowed to be used for? We have the campaign forums for most discussions, but if there's common elements between campaigns? What collaborative efforts would be aided by using wiki? I noticed we all have personal pages is why I'm asking, just wondering what the intended purpose and if we could/should load campaign type stuff. Thread asking for campaign wikis: <a href="https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/3381/have-people-talked-about-campaign-wikis#post-26574" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/3381/have-people-talked-about-campaign-wikis#post-26574</a> I didn't get too far testing it out I like the table formats on the forum a lot better, rather than all the coding.
Generally I find them a fantastic place to host character sheets, setting information, session logs (we do all of our games on text, rather than voice), character portraits, and player notes.
At this time the wiki is to be used for help documentation only-- not as a personal campaign hub. <a href="https://wiki.roll20.net/Help:Contents" rel="nofollow">https://wiki.roll20.net/Help:Contents</a>

I tried to do a wiki but I got totally lost with it. My group is all text for in game stuff also since no one likes to do their characters with voice. We only use voice for ooc chatter similar to sitting around a table with friends and telling jokes or cutting up.
Thank you Nolan T. J. couldn't find the use guidelines, wasn't expecting it under 'help' and the link up top says 'help &amp; docs'. (I didn't actually save anything). Perhaps you could change that link on the left to ToS or Rules or something and change 'Help &amp; Docs' to 'Help Docs'. Also listing something on the main wiki page could be useful.

I literally had to ask Riley where it was... so you are not alone. :) We'll be doing adjusting to better connect items going forward, for sure.

I find EpicWords to be pretty easy to use, but it only allows you one campaign on a free subscription. Otherwise I've used Wikispaces for a lot in the past, it's unlimited use (as far as I can tell), and the Wikicode takes a little to get used to but it isn't that hard, they have a nice table in their help section for what does what. I wouldn't expect the official wiki to be for any personal campaigns ever, that seems like it would get confusing... However being a storage place for popular or common API scripts seems logical.
