Hard Copy printouts of Character Sheets

Is it possible to print hard copy of character sheets? I find maneuvering the character sheet during play to be cumbersome and disruptive to speed of play. It would be nice to have a hard copy printout available as a quick reference. Playing from a 15" laptop doesn't help my ability to see what I need at a glance. Any ideas or suggestions?

Roch, while there is no print feature for the Character Sheets there are a few options. You can double click on the header of a sheet or handout to minimize them. On the Dev server right now are Pop Out character sheets, that let you pop the character sheet from the app. You can then put it on the other monitor or minimize and tab back and forth. The other option is to toss your vote at this suggestion .

Yes, support printing sheets. :-) You can make a huge macro that pulls all the attributes you want for a sheet and copy/paste from chat to a word processor. Done it. Not very elegant, but it works.
Thanks guys! It seems I'm not the only one seeing the advantage to having paper copies.

A(n Annoying) Workaround: Maximize browser, open character sheet, take a screenshot, open paint or other image editor of choice, paste screenshot, print image
It appears there is no easy way to do this within Roll20. I will be in support of any initiative for the Roll20 team to develop printable character sheets. It would even more helpful to the new players we're pulling in and in some cases may determine if they stay with the game or not.

Roch, are your players opposed to having their character sheet on a tablet ?
It's a step in the right direction, however, I feel that paper copies that can be scribbled on, erased and scribbled on again would be better received. That being said, I'll throw it out on the stoop to see if the cat will lick it up.

I think the tablet version of the character sheets are cool if you have a spare tablet. Everyone has access to paper. Paper has been working for rpg's for over 40 years.
I totally agree with Vince. Printable character sheets that can be scratched on during play with the electronic version updated at end of session would be easiest and cheapest for everyone.
Roch B. said: Thanks guys! It seems I'm not the only one seeing the advantage to having paper copies. Incorrect +1 For Printer Function. I play at the table top still. I route my 2nd PC to my big screen I have. My group now has on the fly maps, handouts, etc as well as the whole internet for any references I require for my games. They collectively pass around the mouse and well, it's altogether just - FUN. As a response to this we DON'T really use or need the sheets on Roll20 except to account for initiative and HP (As both those are used in the initiative tracker and with on screen health bars.) So again, +1 to printer function.

I love hearing that you guys still like or use paper sheets in your games. Please add your thoughts to Print Character Sheets on the suggestion forums and maybe we can get some traction with the Devs.
