Some initial question

I'm a maptool user since 2010 and i've to say i'm just fine with it. Roll 20 looks better and i gave it an initial try. I didn't had the chance to test with my players yet but there are a couple of things i would like to ask: -are the token/object all "snap to grid"? if i want to insert in the map an object and resize it into a smaller image than a square i cannot do that -one of the great feature is the live music streaming. Of course the search function is very nice but i would like to add my own songs. Is that possible? -i have a library of items, tiles, map and so on.....is there a way to link it to the program library or i need to drag the image every time ? well so far this is it but i will surely have more question. roll20 looks awesome so i hope i will be able to switch soon
1) You can either turn off the grid, or move/resize tokens while holding 'alt' to ignore the grid for that one operation. As a related note, holding 'shift' while resizing will maintain the aspect ratio of the object as well. 2) Currently, the only way to do that would be to upload the music to SoundCloud. 3. Currently, there is no way to mass upload items. I believe that ability is on the devs' list of things to do, though I don't know when they will get around to it. I hope that answers your questions; if you have more, feel free to ask.
Thank you for the advice! everything seems to work like a charm, and pushing alt after the drag also allow to avoid the item being snapped to the grid. I have another question before i give it a try with my actual group: Macro. If i understood correctly i cannot assign a certain macro to a specific token....so which is the fastest way for each of the player to have their attack macro? should i write them all separatly since they have different bonus? wouldn't be the tab a bit overcrowded with all this button? I ask this question because maybe there is a easy way that i don't know Thanks for the support and again congratulation for the great work

Players can create their own macros. They're saved on their side of the campaign.

The song requires certain tags. Roll20 only grabs music that are tagged with either "ambient" or "Roll20" as a keyword, try adding those to your tracks. Riley Dutton warms that, "With either tag, it may take up to 15 minutes from the time you change it in SoundCloud until it appears." from <a href="http://community.roll20.net/discussion/comment/543#Comment_543" rel="nofollow">http://community.roll20.net/discussion/comment/543#Comment_543</a>
