Dim Light + Dim Light = Bright Light?

So a character with Darkvision out to 60ft (darkness in this range is dim and dim light is bright). So a character with Darkvision has Emit Light 62.5ft (to make up for the fact it emits from the center) and 0ft with "All Players Can See" Unchecked. If I Bring a light source that emits dim light into this range it should be bright light. And Roll20 does that....kind of. The difference is kind of hard to see. Is there a way to make this more pronounced? I feel like in other campiagns I ran the over lapping dim light was much more easy to see as bright light. Thoughts?

I don't think you can "see" the added light level of dim+dim=bright. You can add an aura to better see the overlap. wiki guide Darkivsion
It depends on whether you are viewing as a player or gm I think. The gm has the variable opacity for dynamic lighting so they do get brighter, but not much. Try logging in as a player(dont forget to give yourself control of the tokens first) and see how it looks that way.
