Create Multiple NPC Sheets at a time with the ability to name them

December 30 (10 years ago)
What I would like to see implemented is that when a GM needs set up an encounter....lets just say (8) kobolds. I would like to be able to have a kobold sheet that I can duplicate (8) times and have the option to name them as they are duplicated or better still have then automatically name them numerically. I do not think there is a way to do this already or even a workaround but if there is please advise...

Another thought would be that if I have a kobold CS in my journal and I drag it to the map then after the first drag in each token would get a different name such as kobold ,--1st one. kobold2 ,--2nd one and so on.

Is this doable?

Hi Bobby. "The" Aaron has an API script TokenNameNumber that works very well for this sort of thing. You would still need to link the first mook. +1 for implimenting it within roll20 without an API solution.

It may be me but, I search for a good while before posting and still can not find what I am looking for so Thanks for the information..I will test it out.

It isn't just you. Finding a specific thing in the forums can be kinda a pain. I think there are a few suggestions for changing how the search works, but I don't remember exactly where....

Roger, correct.

Here is a link to another Suggestion thread that asks for improvements to the Searching on the forums:
