Questions and answers to Character Creation Here is some general info when you create a character. Starting level is 1 Attribute Scores: Ability scores are rolled using the following 5d6 drop 2. Roll 7 sets of stats and drop 1. The macro I created which should show up in the macro toolbar or you can type "#roll-stats" in the chat window to activate the macro. Character Background: You will be starting in the city of Waterdeep of the Forgotten Realms. You are about to graduate at the top of your class in your respective school (Martial, Magic, Divine, etc) pending one last test. Write your background of where your character is from and how he ended up going to school in Waterdeep. I will give you a character sheet to fill out in the Roll20.net Campaign app. Equipment and Wealth: Roll for your starting money based on the table on page 142 of the Players Handbook and purchase whatever items you can afford. A standard backpack with rations will be provided at no cost. Everything else you must purchase. Find a picture of your character you want used for your token in game.

awe point buy huh. Alrighty then: 15, 10, 16, 16, 8, 8 (After racial bonus +2 con +1 wis) -Dengur wasn't the smartest or the most suave of dwarves, but he was the strongest fighter and was the most suited for being the War Priest of his clan. -I'll add more, i've been hitting the gym at crazy hours and i'm crashing. Once ya get me set up with a Char sheet, I can have it filled out in a bit. Are you running any API Scripts? Dynamic lighting and all that. BTW, if we could get another healer type, it might be advisable, since I fully intend to play a front line Main tank or off-tank with a lot of aura/dmg spells due to my domain. So a life cleric, paladin, druid or bard would be great too.
just a question, in the campaign desciption you said that we can roll stats with you there. can we use that as an alternative or is the point buy system the only way to generate stats for your campaign?
Do you allow for the alternate Human traits during character creation? (+1 to two stats, one skill, one feat) ?

I thought about it and for those who wish to risk it you can choose the random roll method for stats OR you can stay with point buy. Read the top message in this thread about rolling for stats. If you choose Random Roll method you can't change it back to Point Buy if you roll badly!

Yes, you can choose the random roll method. See the revised message at the top of this page.

Character is complete and Character sheet is updated with background and image. Found an image that is almost perfect for my character. Included that in the character sheet Bio section. Hope you don't mind me having a pet mouse. It lives in my beard and eats crumbs that get stuck in it. His name is Mr. Whiskers. I talk to him constantly. (Perhaps that is why people think I talk to myself). I also modified the Outlander background a bit to better fit my character background. Called it Wildman and basically just changed skills to Stealth, Survival vs ... Athletics, Survival. Everything else was the same.
