I have been lurking around for a while and still oh the hunt for people to game with, however with lovely social anxiety and a lot of the games/groups being state side things are moving slowly, but we are still progressing. However, as I look over rule sets and read up on wonderful worlds, i have had an apostrophe (thumbs up if you get the reference), I would like to try my hand at world building and creating my own campaign that is some epic adventure in my head. so advice from seasoned DM's is requested, when writing your own adventures and campaigns do you write every specific detail, if there is an inn keeper, do you know exactly what they know, who they know, what information they have down to the finest detail. Or do you leave things more free flow, only having the basic outline of what npc's might know, so hopefully being less player-break proof.
