My online group just finished up a year and a half D&D 4e campaign on Maptools, and now we're looking to try something new and different (but still in a fantasy setting.) We decided on the Legends of Anglerre game system for its emphasis on storytelling and how it integrates story aspects into game mechanics. There's four of us now, in our early 20's, and I'm looking for a few more players. I want to make the most of Roll20's tabletop atmosphere, so whoever joins needs to be comfortable using the Webcam and voicechat features. I'm still in the early stages of campaign design, so the game won't be starting for several weeks yet. But I want player input into the type of campaign we run and the world setting. Right now we're leaning towards an unusual setting where the native american myths are true and the iconic native civilizations have prospered and progressed to middle ages technology. Or we may go with an Euro-feudalistic game with a medieval feel. Whatever we pick, it won't be Tolkien-esque fantasy with elves and dwarves. I like to heavily integrate characters into the plotline, so if you do commit, please make sure you can attend regularly or else it upends the story. If you're interested, shoot me what type of story you'd like to see (it doesn't have to be either of the ideas I mentioned,) what systems you've played before, and a rough idea of the type of character you'd like to play (nothing too specific; we'll be generating characters together during the first session per LoA guidelines.)
