Award types

The group has agreed to use these peer vote awards, note that you may not nominate yourself: Most Valuable Character: The character whose skills and contributions were the most useful to the party. Best Roleplay: This award goes to the player whose roleplay best embodied their character. Please post with any other categories or ideas.
Truly great moment: This is the "oh wow" moment where people look up and talk about it next session. Uncommon. But I believe that these really add to the fun of the game, and should get a karma award. Game Master, Jr. : Awarded to the person who kept the game or team going when it wasn't. This could either be achieved through in-character - helping the team work out a plan or work out a problem - or through OOC actions - keeping people focused and involved when attention wanders. Group Award: Given by game master. When the group really hits its stride and works cleanly together to make a session fly by.
I like the "Truly Great Moment" concept, perhaps we should use name: "Moment of Greatness" but something in that spirit. Perhaps a hero award?

Bitter pill, special award for a player with terrible luck who insists on roleplaying it out?
I like "Moment of Greatness" and GM Jr. ideas. Not sure about the group award - isn't that sort of thing just built into karma rewards anyway? Do we want to let a bunch of min-maxers have the opportunity to vote for all of them to get more XP? The only thing missing, I think, is an award for someone who either does something awesome RP-wise that isn't important or impactful enough to get best roleplay or someone who has the best action description / moment of failure. Something to reward the entertainment that keeps us engaged but which might not be exactly effective. Can't think of a good name.
